You can set up your business ID# with your Social Security Number. Most often places you need to show them (Amazon, etc.) you enter your SSN as your business ID#.





Make sure you hold on to all your records for costs and things because your taxes will be a pain in the butt, but at least you won't have to file as a business. That's even worse.





Also, if you file as an individual you can can write off a lot more expenses that if you were a business. If you don't employ anyone, like an assistant or whatever, the government will usually have absolutely no problem doing it.
