I'm self pubishing several books and need to apply for ISBN numbers. Can I just register it as a sole propritorship, or do I have to do the EIN thing? Has anyone else done this?|||No EIN is required, but you may want the works published owned by an organization instead of you owning them personally. This protects from liability if that is a concern.
The simplest, fastest way is to register them in your name, but this may not be what best serves your interest.
