I want to purchase a book from someone and the online version and the person's book both have the same ISBN but different publication date. Is there any difference in the books?
The book is a novel by the way.|||There shouldn't be any substantial difference but it may have been updated in places. There should be a note somewhere which says revised edition if this is the case.
Ed.|||well you should look up when it was first published, if its a first edition of an old book it might be worth paying more but again open to investigation, but if its one that is just a general novel, the cheapest is best, no difference they just reprint them every so often, when people forget them and the author produces a new book
